Cleveland Browns unveil incredibly detailed dog logo, as voted by fanbase

Despite existing since 1946, the Cleveland Browns are the only NFL team without a logo on their helmets. Fans have always just recognized the team with the orange helmets at the Browns. It may not make complete sense, but that’s the way it is.

Although the Browns do not have a specific logo displayed on their helmets, the team has adopted a dog logo throughout the years, helping embody the Dawg Pound persona the organization has come to embrace.

Now, in 2023, the Browns have asked for input from their fanbase, giving them a chance to vote between select designs in an effort to come up with a new-and-improved dog logo. That process has finally concluded, with the Browns officially revealing a new dog logo for the upcoming season.

Here’s the new choice the Browns are running with:

As always with art, there is more here than what initially meets the eye. Hidden within the layers of the design include several ties to the Cleveland area, the Browns’ franchise, and more.

For example, did you notice that the left ear of the bullmastiff is in the shape of Ohio? That’s just one of the eight features highlighted by the Browns’ official release. Here are the others for the artsy Browns fanatic who just can’t get enough information about the newest change in design.

The previous logo was appreciated by many, but after seeing the updated design, it’s hard not to like what the Browns have come up with. Maybe one day we’ll even see this logo located somewhere on their helmets. Is that too much to ask?
